Meal Teams

Each day during Elementary and Middle-High School programming we provide a snack and meal to our students. We are always looking for additional help when providing these meals! Grab your team and help us make sure or students go home with full bellies.

Mentoring

Build a meaningful one-on-one relationship with a Dream Center student through consistent encouragement, support, and presence. Mentors walk alongside students over the course of a year, offering guidance and care in a Christ-centered relationship.

Learning Clubs

Learning Club Leaders guide a small group of students through a hands-on introduction to a topic or skill. Clubs run for six weeks and are designed to spark curiosity and creativity. It is a 1.5-hour commitment each week! Examples include cooking club, tennis club, science club, and more.

Bible Study

Leaders gather with a student group for Bible study, discussion, and prayer, helping students grow spiritually and build faith-centered communities. A bi-weekly or monthly commitment for an individual who enjoys discussion, mentoring, and walking with students in their faith journey.

Elementary Programming

Volunteers assist during after-school programming by spending time with students in their groups, playing in the gym, and helping staff as needed. Frequency depends on availability and needs from our pathway teams!

Family Event Support

Support Dream Center events by helping with planning, setup, execution, and cleanup. These events focus on building community and connecting with Dream Center families and neighbors.

Jacobsville Walking Club

Join neighbors in a resident-led effort to clean up the Jacobsville neighborhood by removing trash from the streets. Supplies are provided upon request. The group meets in the Dream Center parking lot.

Administrative Supports

Provide behind-the-scenes support that keeps the Dream Center running smoothly. Tasks may include organizing files, preparing materials, assembling mailings, or assisting staff with office needs.

Building Maintenance Team

Help keep the Dream Center safe, welcoming, and well cared for through cleaning, organizing, basic repairs, and general upkeep. No special skills required. Commitment level varies depending on group and availability.

Little Library & Pantry

This volunteer-led team helps maintain Little Free Libraries and pantries throughout the Jacobsville neighborhood by keeping them clean, stocked, and in good working order at least once a month.

Love Your Neighbor Days

Join more than 100 volunteers to complete neighborhood projects alongside and for our Jacobsville neighbors. Projects wrap up by noon, followed by lunch together.

Become a Reading Buddy

Only takes a once-a-week commitment! Reading Buddies read aloud to one or two students, helping develop reading, listening, and social skills while fostering a love of books.

Eaglets Programming

Support our youngest learners by assisting staff during Pre-K programming. Volunteers help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment!

Tutoring

Once a week, during after-school programming! Academic tutors support students by helping with homework and reinforcing learning in a positive, encouraging environment.
